Hmmm, I'm booting from the X64 version downloaded from MSDN also, and every time I click on repair, it tells me it can't repair operating systems earlier than Windows 7, and leaves me at original window. I only have Vista installed. Is it possible you have Windows 7 installed in another partition that it is finding? Or should it move forward to the utilities list with command prompt on it after it can't find a windows installation it can repair.

Are you sure about this? Because I'm using the Win7 build 7000 (download through my MSDN license).

Unfortunately doesn't work with Windows 7 Build 7000, the public beta. I can't get past the "select an operating system to repair" since the boot CD won't repair Windows installations earlier than Windows 7 now.
