Yet another hypervisor. The next revolution is binding PCIE and other devices into a guest VM. IDF August 2008, VT-D demonstration already shows that it’s possible (Parallels). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EiqMR5Wx_r4

Parallels runs two video cards, one on the host, one bound to a guest VM, that’s progress.

Interesting concept, sounds like workstation or Player to me hardly rocket science. all they appear to have done is lighten the host. Further, I wonder where they got the idea to check out a VM for on the road (or none network connected) use Offline Desktops anybody, funny I vividly remember a conversation with a Citrix Guy who was saying “what the hell is the use of that, we live in a connnected world”
